Description

The poe enable mode of interface.

enable: port POE enable.

high_inrush: port POE enable with ignored inrush check. At the end of port power up flow, ILIM state is ignored and the port will continue to regular ON state.

force: port POE enable withh force power.To supply power to non-compliant PDs that would otherwise be rejected by the standard handshake. Force power mode presents a significant risk of damage to legacy non-PoE devices if connected, as it removes the intrinsic safety protection. It should be enabled only on ports connected to known PoE-capable equipment.

This command is used to delay the activation of Power over Etthernet (POE) power supply on an interface based on actual usage requirements. When the uplink link state stabilizes, andthe protocols are running correctly, PoE power is supplied to the connected POE devices. This delay mechanism is usefulfor ensuring that PoE devices receive power only when the network is stable and ready to support them.
